Love Being a Grandma!

Because I will be gone to Montana on Bailee's birthday, I invited her to a sleep over at Grandma's and then a day of lunch and shopping for her birthday. We had a very fun time and we like to bake treats. She loves to do everything and is good at it, she even brought her cute apron she bought at the farmer's market. We decided on snickerdoodle cookies and you can see how yummy they turned out. She took some home to share, especially for her Dad for Father's Day. She chose a Kung Fu Panda Happy Meal at McDonalds after shopping at WalMart to pick out presents for her and Malia. We like to shop as well as bake!
Friday, we headed to Pocatello for Isaak's birthday at Ross Park. Everyone enjoyed a chicken dinner and my favorite... bakery birthday cake. He loved running around with his cousins. Jef and family were there and favorite uncle Chad. Sarah's family were all there, too and it was a great time.
We did the Idaho Falls farmer's market Saturday morning. It was a beautiful day, one of the best they've had all week, considering they got snow there a few days before. We sold lots of sauce and we always get a kick out of people watching.
Next Grandma stop....Montana! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Love to you all....will blog my trip when I get back.

And what a great Grandmother you are!!. Bailey has grown into a beautiful little girl. I can't think of a better day than to shop at WalMart and go out to lunch, Unless it is to eat bakery bithday cake. One of the many blessings of having a large family and many grandchildren is the number of birthday cakes we get to enjoy.

She is learning the art of cookie making from the master! Snickerdoodles are a favorite at our house!
