Where did January go?

I can't believe it has been since August that I have posted anything on my blog. I have made it a new goal ( did I just use the"G" word??) to get back to journaling and what better way than to share my life happenings here. I will have to refresh my old brain and hope that I remember how to navigate and get all the things accomplished that I intend to do...isn't that the way life is anyway? Blogging for me means lots or pics, which of course is the ideal, but I can post without pics if that be the case. My phone doesn't take clear pictures anymore as the lens is scratched and I don't remember to take my camera with me. So... thinking a new camera to fit in my purse would really be the incentive to get myself back into the swing of things! Well, we will see!
January! Where did you go! Keeping as busy as I do, it isn't hard to have it zoom by. I love having a temple so close and have had enjoyed so much going once a week and sometimes even more. My presidency goes once a month and we are busy teaching in ward relief societies during their ward conferences, visiting ward additional relief society meetings, speaking in sacrament meeting with high counselors, and planning the stake relief society birthday celebration in March. We had the wonderful opportunity to feed lunch and dinner to our stake presidency and their wives along with a counselor in the mission presidency and our area authority on January 17th. Elder Rowe, our area authority, was our neighbor in Nampa and I taught his two oldest children piano. Small world. I am still hanging in there with my spinning class three days a week and wish that my holiday pounds would go away as fast as January did! I am still attempting to learn Espanol...I study two verses in El Libro De Mormon and write things in Espanol on my erase board cada manana. I still help Dale with the stats as he announces the high school girls' and boys' basketball home games, we are now entering in the girl's tournament games, they are the top seed. Boys haven't fared as well. I get to tend Cameron and Mary's kids once in a while, saw Jeremy, Sarah, and kids for a weekend visit, and Sarah, Logan, and Mason for an evening passing through...just don't get to see all grand kids as much as I like. I have included pics I did take when I dusted off my camera!
